About Bandipur national park If you are looking for a wildlife adventure, then a trip to Bandipur National Park is a must. This 890-square-kilometer park is located in the southern state of Karnataka, and is known for its abundant wildlife population.
Bandipur National Park was established in 1974 as a tiger reserve. Today, the park is home to more than 1,000 elephants, 400 tigers, and 1,500 deer. Visitors can enjoy excellent wildlife viewing opportunities, as well as hiking and nature walks.
Bandipur National Park is open daily from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Admission is Rs. 250 per person.
