Cathedral St.Andre

Bordeaux Cathedral is a Roman Catholic cathedral located in the city of Bordeaux, France. It is the seat of the Archbishop of Bordeaux. The cathedral was consecrated on November 30, 1884, to serve as the new seat of the Archdiocese of Bordeaux. Construction of the cathedral began in 1875 and was completed in 1884. The cathedral is built in the Gothic Revival style and features a spire that reaches a height of 162 meters. The cathedral is also home to several notable works of art, including a statue of the Virgin Mary by sculptor Émile Peynot and a painting of the Last Supper by painter Fernand Cormon.
