Dhanushkodi, also known as "Dhanushkodi Church and Station Ruins", is a town in the Ramanathapuram district of the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is located on the Pamban Island, in the Palk Strait. The town is located on the tip of the Pamban Island, in the Palk Strait. It is located about 20 kilometres (12 mi) from Rameswaram. The town was destroyed by a cyclone in 1964. The only structure that remains is the church. The Dhanushkodi Church and Station Ruins are a popular tourist attraction.
