Dudhsagar Falls

Dudhsagar Falls (literally "sea of milk") is a waterfall located on the Mandovi River in the Indian state of Goa. The falls are situated on the border of the Indian state of Goa and the state of Karnataka. They are 60 kilometres (37 mi) from Panaji, the state capital of Goa. The falls are formed by the river dropping from a height of 310 metres (1,020 ft). 
The falls are listed as the fifth tallest waterfall in India and the ninth tallest in Asia. Dudhsagar Falls is a major tourist attraction and is a part of the Goa-Karnataka border. The falls are not as easily accessible as other tourist destinations in Goa and are best seen from the railway bridge that passes over them. The falls are also a popular spot for trekkers.
