Madraza Palace

The Madraza Palace was commissioned by the Nasrid dynasty ruler Muhammed V of Granada in the late 14th century. It was designed as a school for Islamic theology and is one of the most important Islamic buildings in Spain. The Madraza is a large, rectangular building with a central courtyard. The walls are decorated with Mudéjar plasterwork and there are Islamic arches and minarets.
