Hemakuta Hill Temple Complex

Hemakuta Hill is a small hill in Hampi, located to the north of the Virupaksha Temple. The hill is noted for its many ancient temples, most of which are in ruins. The hill is named after the Hindu god Hemakuta, who is said to have resided here. The temples on the hill are dedicated to a variety of Hindu gods and goddesses, including Shiva, Vishnu, Brahma, and Parvati. The Hemakuta Hill Temple Complex is open from sunrise to sunset.
