Hampi Mahanavami Dibba is a huge monolithic platform located in the ruins of the ancient city of Vijayanagara in the Indian state of Karnataka. The platform is said to have been erected to commemorate the victory of the Vijayanagara king, Krishnadevaraya, over the Bahmani sultanate in 1565. The platform is about 148 feet (45 m) long, 97 feet (30 m) wide, and 33 feet (10 m) high, and is the largest surviving monolithic structure from the Vijayanagara period. The platform is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Hampi.
