Koutoubia Mosque is a mosque located in the city of Marrakech, in western Morocco. The mosque was completed in 1162–63, during the reign of the Almohad caliph Yaqub al-Mansur. It is the largest and best-known mosque in Marrakech. The mosque is located in the medina quarter of the city, north of the Jemaa el-Fnaa square.
