This sanctuary is located in the Darjeeling district of West Bengal and was established in 1984. It is spread over an area of 191 hectares and is known for its rich variety of flora and fauna. The main attraction of this sanctuary is its population of Royal Bengal Tigers. Other animals that can be found here include elephants, leopards, deer, and wild boars. There are also a number of bird species found in the sanctuary, including the Bengal florican, white-rumped vulture, and the black-headed oriole.
