Nilagrad River

Sonamarg Nilagrad River journey is very popular trekking route in Kashmir valley. The route offers stunning views of mountains, glaciers and river. The trek starts from Sonamarg and ends at Nilagrad River. The total trekking distance is about 18 km. The trekking route passes through alpine meadows, forests and river. Sonamarg is a small town located at an altitude of 2,750 meters in Kashmir valley. Nilagrad River is a small river located at an altitude of 3,000 meters. The trekking route is well marked and there is no need for a guide.
