Spiti Tangyud Monastery is a Buddhist monastery located in the Spiti Valley in the Lahaul and Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh, India. The monastery is home to around 200 monks and is one of the most important monasteries in the Spiti Valley. The monastery was founded in the 10th century by the great Indian Mahasiddha, Naropa. The monastery is home to a number of important Buddhist scriptures and is a major centre of learning in the region. The monastery is also home to a large statue of the Buddha.
