Matterhorn Museum

The Zermatt Matterhorn Museum is a museum in Zermatt, Switzerland, dedicated to the Matterhorn. It is located in the former village school, which was built in 1885. The museum contains exhibits about the history of the Matterhorn, the first ascent of the mountain, and the alpine mountaineering culture of Zermatt. It also has a collection of mountaineering equipment and memorabilia. The museum is open from May to October.
