Admire Architecture of Melike Hatun Mosque

Ankara is Turkey's capital city and home to many ancient and beautiful mosques. The Melike Hatun Mosque, which was built in the early 16th century, is one of the most notable mosques in Ankara and is well worth a visit. The mosque is named after Melike Hatun, the wife of the Seljuk Sultan Alaeddin Keykubad I. It was originally built as a small medrese (Islamic school), but was later enlarged and turned into a mosque. The mosque is noted for its beautiful architecture, which includes a large dome and four minarets. The Melike Hatun Mosque is located in the Kizilay district of Ankara and is open to visitors from Monday to Saturday.
