Ankara Altinkoy Open Air Museum is one of the most popular places to visit in Ankara. It is a museum of archaeology and ethnography that is open to the public. The museum is located in the district of Altinkoy, Ankara. The museum was opened in 1966 and it is housed in a building that was formerly used as a school. The museum has three floors, the first floor is dedicated to archaeology, the second floor is dedicated to ethnography, and the third floor is a library. The museum has a collection of artefacts from the Paleolithic period to the Ottoman period. The archaeology collection includes items from the Hittite, Urartian, Phrygian, and Roman periods.
