The museum is housed in a building originally constructed as the residence of the Ottoman Grand Vizier Hüseyin Pasha in the 18th century. The building was later used as a tobacco factory, and then a printing house. The museum was opened in 1994, and exhibits artifacts related to transportation, including automobiles, ships, and locomotives. The museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00am to 6:00pm.
