Pandavaas Caves

The Chiplun Pandavaas Caves are a network of Buddhist caves located in the town of Chiplun, in the Ratnagiri district of Maharashtra, India. The caves were excavated in the 5th century AD, and are thought to have been used by the Buddhist monks of the Mahayana sect. The caves are notable for their ornate carvings, which include depictions of the Buddha, bodhisattvas, and other religious figures.
