Talakadu

Located in the Chamarajanagar district of Karnataka, Talakadu is a small town situated on the banks of the Kaveri River. The town is known for its many temples, which were once buried under sand. The main attraction in Talakadu is the Vaidyeshwara Temple, which is dedicated to the god of medicine. Other temples in the town include the Marikamba Temple, the Panchalinga Temple, and the Mahalinga Temple. Talakadu is also a popular spot for pilgrims, who come to take a holy dip in the Kaveri River.
