The Historical Museum of Crete is a museum in Heraklion, Crete, Greece. It is housed in a Venetian building from the 16th century, and contains exhibits on the history of Crete. The museum was founded in 1952, and contains exhibits on the history of Crete from the Neolithic period to the present day. The museum is open from 8:00am to 3:00pm from Monday to Friday, and from 8:00am to 2:00pm on Saturdays. Admission is free.
