Mahamrityunjaya Temple

The Jageshwar Mahamrityunjaya Temple is a Hindu temple located in the town of Jageshwar, in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. The temple is dedicated to the god Shiva, and is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, the most sacred temples of Shiva. The temple is located in the scenic Kumaon Hills, and is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the region. The temple complex is spread over an area of 15 acres, and is surrounded by forested hills. The temple is built in the Nagara style of architecture, and is adorned with carvings of gods and goddesses.
