Rajahmundry

Rajahmundry is a city in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is the mandal headquarters of Rajahmundry mandal in the Rajahmundry revenue division. It is also the headquarters of the Rajahmundry district. Rajahmundry is a major industrial centre with numerous industries that employ thousands of people. In the K.G. Basin, the city is the headquarters for ONGC and GAIL. The Godavari districts are one of India's most important petrochemical centres. Luthergiri and Kadiam are the locations of two massive paper mills in the city.
