Temple Mount

The Temple Mount is one of the most important religious sites in the world. It is the site where the ancient Hebrew temples stood. The first temple was built by King Solomon in the 10th century BC. It was destroyed by the Babylonians in 586 BC. The second temple was rebuilt by Ezra and Nehemiah in the 5th century BC. It was destroyed by the Romans in 70 AD. Today, the Temple Mount is a Muslim holy site. It is home to the Dome of the Rock and the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
