Anashakti Ashram

Kausani is a small hill station in the Bageshwar district of Uttarakhand, India. It is located at an altitude of 1,593 metres (5,223 ft). Kausani is situated on a ridge overlooking the snow-capped peaks of Trishul, Nanda Devi and Panchachuli. Kausani was the favourite haunt of the British poet, Rudyard Kipling. Kausani is a popular tourist destination. The town is known for its scenic views of the Himalayas, including Trishul, Nanda Devi and Panchachuli. Kausani is also known for its temples, including the ancient Shiva temple of Kausani and the Bageshwar temple. The best time to visit Kausani is from October to June.
