Uttarakhand

Uttarakhand is a state located in the northern part of India. It is often referred to as "The Land of the Gods" due to the large number of Hindu temples and pilgrimage sites located throughout the state. Uttarakhand is home to the source of the Ganges River, which is considered holy by Hindus. The state is also home to the Himalayan Mountains, which offer some of the best trekking and mountaineering in the world.

The best time to visit Uttarakhand is during the summer months of June to September when the weather is warm and dry. The winter months of December to February can be very cold, with heavy snowfall in the higher regions.
