Kohima War Cemetery

Kohima War Cemetery is a Commonwealth War Graves Commission (CWGC) cemetery in Kohima, Nagaland, India. The cemetery is located on the outskirts of the town, close to the Dimapur-Kohima road. The cemetery contains the graves of 1,394 servicemen and women of the British and Commonwealth forces who died during the Second World War, most of whom were killed in the Battle of Kohima in 1944. There are also graves of six servicemen of the Indian Army who died in the 1947 Indo-Pakistani War. The cemetery was designed by Sir Edward Maufe.
