The Kudremukh Lakya Dam is a gravity dam on the Kudremukh River in the Chikkamagaluru district of Karnataka, India. The primary purpose of the dam is hydroelectric power generation and it supports a 1,020 MW power station. Construction on the dam began in 1979 and it was completed in 1985. The power station began operation in 1986.
