The Nanda Devi Temple is a Hindu temple located in the Pithoragarh district of the Uttarakhand state of India. Dedicated to the Hindu goddess Nanda Devi, the temple is one of the most important pilgrimage destinations in the region. The temple is located at an altitude of about 2,438 metres (7,999 ft) and is surrounded by high mountains, including Nanda Devi, the second highest mountain in India.
