Van Vihar

Van Vihar is a zoo in Manali, Himachal Pradesh, India. The zoo is located on the banks of the Beas River and is spread over an area of . The zoo is home to a wide variety of animals, including Himalayan black bear, leopard, Asiatic black bear, otter, red fox, pika, and rhesus macaque.

 

The zoo was opened to the public in 1992. It was initially home to only a few animals, including a black bear, a leopard, and a few monkeys. The zoo has since been expanded to include a wide variety of animals.

The zoo is open from 9 am to 6 pm. Admission is Rs. 20 for adults and Rs. 10 for children.
