Panchtarni

Pahalgam is a town and a notified area committee in Anantnag district in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. It is located in the Pir Panjal Range, about 95 km south-east of Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir. Panchtarni is a Hindu pilgrimage site in the Pahalgam area of Anantnag district in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. It is located on the banks of the Lidder River, about 5 km upstream from Pahalgam. The site is dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva and is visited by pilgrims who take a holy dip in the Lidder River.
