Rome Terme di Caracalla is a public bath and spa in the southeastern sector of Rome, Italy. It is the largest of the imperial baths of Rome, and was built principally by the Emperor Caracalla between 212 and 217 AD. The baths were named after Caracalla, and they were used both for public and private bathing. The complex was the most important in Rome after the Baths of Diocletian.
