Gurusthan

Shirdi Gurusthan is a Hindu pilgrimage center in the Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra, India. It is located about 235 km northeast of Mumbai and 100 km from Ahmednagar. The Saibaba Sansthan Trust administers the shrine. Saibaba, also known as Shirdi Sai Baba, was a 19th-century Indian spiritual master who is regarded by his devotees as a saint. The Gurusthan is a small hillock located in the center of the Shirdi village. It is said that Sai Baba spent a lot of time here in meditation. A small temple dedicated to Sai Baba is located on the hillock. Near the Gurusthan is the Dwarkamai mosque, where Sai Baba lived and preached. The mosque is also the site of Sai Baba's samadhi, or final resting place.
