The Srirangapatna fort is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in the city of Srirangapatna in the Indian state of Karnataka. It is located about 22 kilometers from the city of Mysore. The fort was built by the Hindu king Hyder Ali in the 18th century. It was later expanded by his son, Tipu Sultan. The fort is made up of a number of structures, including a citadel, a mosque, a palace, and a dungeon.
