Silk Farm

Yercaud Silk Farm is located in the Shevaroy Hills of the Eastern Ghats, in the Salem district of Tamil Nadu, India. The farm is a government-owned enterprise, and is the only silk farm in the state. It is a major producer of mulberry silk cocoons and raw silk. The farm is also involved in the production of other sericulture products such as mulberry leaves, silkworm pupae, and silkworm cocoons.
