Kile Pakho

Ziro is a small town and the headquarters of Ziro Valley situated in Lower Subansiri district in the state of Arunachal Pradesh, India. The town is located at an altitude of 1,600 metres (5,249 ft). Ziro is known for its scenic beauty, Apatani culture and rice cultivation. The Ziro Valley is home to the Apatani people, who are considered to be one of the most advanced tribes in terms of their socio-economic development. The valley is also home to a large number of other indigenous tribes. Ziro is connected to the rest of India by a motorable road. The nearest airport is located at Tezpur, Assam.
