Athens Temple of Athena Nike is a small temple dedicated to the goddess Athena Nike. It is located on the Acropolis of Athens, and was built in around 420 BC. The temple was extensively damaged by the Persian invasion of 480 BC, but was rebuilt by the Athenians. It was again damaged by the Heruli in 267 AD, and was not rebuilt. The temple is now in ruins, but is still an important archaeological site.
