Boating at Lake Kournas

The lake is located in the Rethymno regional unit and is the only natural lake on the island. The lake is approximately 2.5 kilometers (1.5 miles) long and 1.5 kilometers (0.9 miles) wide. The lake is a popular tourist destination and is known for its clear water and fishing.
