Daroji Bear Sanctuary

The Hampi Daroji Bear Sanctuary is a protected area for sloth bears in the Bellary district of Karnataka, India. It is spread over an area of and is home to around 270 bears. The sanctuary was established in 1986 with an area of and was later expanded to its present size. The Hampi Daroji Bear Sanctuary is home to around 270 sloth bears. The bears are protected from poaching and hunting, and the sanctuary helps to protect the bears from being attacked by humans. The Hampi Daroji Bear Sanctuary is open from sunrise to sunset. Entry is free for all visitors.
