Bijli Mahadev Temple

The legendary story of Bijli Mahadev goes like this: In ancient times, there was a severe drought in the Kullu valley. The people prayed to the gods for help, but their prayers went unanswered. One day, a group of villagers decided to go to the Bijli Mahadev temple to pray for rain. As they were walking, they saw a huge storm cloud brewing in the sky. They ran to the temple and prayed for rain. Suddenly, a bolt of lightning came down from the sky and struck the temple. The storm cloud disappeared and it started to rain. The people were amazed at the power of Bijli Mahadev. They thanked the gods for sending rain and vowed to always worship the temple.
