Museum of Prehistoric Thera

The Santorini Museum of Prehistoric Thera is a museum in Fira, Santorini, Greece, that houses artifacts from the prehistoric settlement of Akrotiri on the island. The museum was founded in 1957 by Spyridon Marinatos and his wife Nanno Marinatos. The museum is housed in a building designed by the architect Ioannis Vikelas. The museum contains artifacts from the prehistoric settlement of Akrotiri on the island, including pottery, wall paintings, and sculptures. The museum is open daily from 8:00am to 8:00pm. Admission is €6.
