5. Saiha
is a town and a municipality in Mizoram, India. Saiha is the administrative headquarters of the Saiha district. Saiha is located on the eastern edge of Mizoram, bordering the Indian states of Tripura and Assam. Saiha is connected to the rest of Mizoram by National Highway 54.
According to the 2011 census, Saiha has a population of 17,711. Male literacy is 85%, female literacy is 73%. In Saiha, 15% of the population is under 6 years of age.
The main language spoken in Saiha is Mizo. Hindi is also spoken by a significant minority.
The town is home to the Mizoram State Museum.
The town is well known for its natural scenery, and is a popular tourist destination. The main tourist attractions in Saiha are the Lunglei and Tuipui River Valleys.
